Perez answers puzzling multicultural questions...
On Wednesday, November 14th, Pedro Perez shed light on some puzzling issues surrounding Ocala's multicultural community.

Florida's Hispanic community is growing at an exciting rate - double the original Census 2000 predication. Perez illuminated on the complexities of marketing to the Hispanic population, given their inner-cultural and generational diversity. He also advised on how precarious translation can be – in all media including the web. He reports that one of the the best ways to reach today's Latin community is through direct mail, which shows a 78% return. He adds, "First generation Hispanics want to be involved. They don't go out a lot, and they don't receive a lot of mail in spanish, so they read everything they get in the mail." He indicated that the overall ROI with the Hispanic community is a whopping 83% return.
